Lawrence C. Connolly\u2019s books include the Veins Cycle novels Veins<\/em> <\/a>(2008), Vipers<\/em> <\/a>(2010), and Vortex<\/a> <\/em>(2014). His collections include Visions<\/em> <\/a>(2009), This Way to Egress<\/em><\/a> (2010), and Voices<\/em> <\/a>(2011), which feature his stories from Amazing Stories<\/em>, Cemetery Dance<\/em>, The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction<\/em>, Twilight Zone<\/em>, Year\u2019s Best Horror<\/em>, and other top magazines and anthologies of fantasy, horror, and science fiction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voices<\/em> was nominated for the Bram Stoker Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His screenplay \u201cThis Way to Egress,\u201d co-authored with director David Slade<\/a> (executive producer of Hannibal <\/em>and American Gods<\/em>) and based on Connolly’s original story “Traumatic Descent” (first published in Borderlands 3,<\/em><\/a> reprinted in Voices<\/em> and This Way to Egress<\/em>) is featured in the anthology film Nightmare Cinema<\/em><\/a> (2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is also the writer of Mystery Theatre<\/a><\/em>, a podcast produced by Prime Stage<\/a>, which is currently in its fourth season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recent projects include a new adaptation of Frankenstein<\/em><\/a>. Produced by Prime Stage<\/a>, it premiered at Pittsburgh’s New Hazlett Theatre in November 2022. He is currently developing The MinuteMen<\/em>, a superhero franchise, with brother Christopher Connolly and producers Jonathan Sanger<\/a> and M. Jones<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also a musician, his music can be heard on Bandcamp<\/a> and Spotify<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
