\"Larry<\/a>Ah, spring! Leaves on the trees, birds in the air, and the big tent opening at Riley\u2019s Pour House<\/a>. It\u2019s that time of year when musicians look forward to moving out of the pub and onto the summer stage under the big top known as Riley\u2019s Gardens.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a great place to party, and I\u2019m hoping the space will be ready when we return this Friday, May 22, with Duane Davis on bass and Lauren Connolly Moore on harmonies and mandolin. One way or the other — Pub or Gardens — we’re going to have a blast.<\/p>\n

\"tent\"Music starts with Tommy B and Erich Dagnal<\/a> playing warm up from 5:30 to 7:30. Expect to hear tunes ranging from “Roadhouse Blues” by The Doors to “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” by Simple Minds. Erich and Tommy carry them all beautifully.<\/p>\n

Duane and I will take the stage at 8:00, with Lauren joining us later in the evening. And if past performances are any indication, we expect to be joined by Jimmy Z before the night is over. His piano playing always helps bring the night to a raucous finale. Expect to hear our usual blend of contemporary folk-rock and trad Irish . . . and a few surprises.<\/p>\n

So whether we’re performing outside under the big top of Riley’s Gardens or packed inside the Pub where the Guinness flows, plan to come early and stay till we play the final tune at midnight. If you miss it,\u00a0don’t blame us.<\/p>\n
