It’s the season for music reunions. Styx and REO Speedwagon are back on the road, and Lou Gramm might (or might not) be considering reuniting with Foreigner.
But the really big event is happening this Thursday at Riley’s Pour House, the spot that Pittsburgh Magazine has named the Best Irish Pub in Pittsburgh.
That’s where I’ll be joining my good friend Christopher Laughrey for a Laughrey Connolly reunion, playing together for the first time since 2008.
We’ll take the stage at 9:00, play some tunes from the Laughrey Connolly Band songbook (think “Watching Brid Cairenn,” “Leaving Liverpool,” “Castle Gregory“), and wrap up around 10:00. Is there a better way to spend a Thursday?
Hope to see you there!
