Who Are They?
As announced in a previous installment of this blog (find it here), my brother Christopher and I have launched a newsletter featuring production updates, photos, concept art, videos, and audio recordings relating to our forthcoming book Minute-Men: Execute & Run.
Installments of the newsletter also feature puzzles and challenges, with the most recent one relating to the characters pictured above.
Although the graphic includes character names, those identities were hidden when we announced the challenge. Thus, with only the pictures to inspire them, readers were invited to make up names and backstories of their own.
Responses

Commenting on Facebook, science-fiction writer Barton Paul Levinson submitted the names “Tim Terrific, Slipper Girl, Lapel Man, Skullface Suzy, Little Sink Man, and Grandma Righteous.”
He went on to add that Little Sink Man achieves his diminutive size thanks to the shrinking effects of water.
Musing about the same character, novelist Michael Libling submitted the following in the newsletter’s comment section:
The love child of Tom Thumb and Tinkerbelle, the infant is surrendered to an orphanage at birth, where he is soon adopted by charm bracelet designers John and Martha Small. After being mistaken for a pencil on his first day of school and barely escaping death by pencil sharpener, young Guy Small promptly commits himself to a life of crime fighting as the inconspicuous and sadly ineffectual Weewee Man…
And then there’s TJ Turnet, who gives names and origin stories for all six characters. According to TJ, their names are (left ot right, top to bottom) Party Popper Man, Fireworks Girl, Green Jacket Masters Winner, Coyote Ugly, Sea Monkey Man, and The Mother-In-Law.
You can read TJ’s origin story for each character in the comment section of last week’s blog.
But What Are The Actual Stories?

More about all six superheroes is revealed in the latest installment of the Minite-Men: Execute & Run newsletter.
